Complete Story Mode Walkthrough for Marvel’s Spider-man.

This guide will serve as a walkthrough through the Story Mode Missions of Marvel’s Spider-man. This guide will also be spoiler free and be written in a simple and easy to follow fashion.

Take note that this guide is intended to be spoiler free. But obviously, I cannot describe everything and give proper directions without referring to some bosses or things as their real names. So while this guide is as spoiler free as I can possibly write it, it may still have some spoilers at certain points for the sake of accurate directions. You have been warned.

If you are struggling on a combat or puzzle based portion of the story, the combat difficulty can be changed from the options menu and there is an option in the menu to skip Story Mode puzzles altogether.

=ACT 1=

1. Clearing The Way

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. After watching the game’s opening events, swing through the city following the helicopter that has a red light on it.
  2. A yellow objective marker will appear on the screen. This is is where both you and the helicopter need to go. Follow that and an event will happen.
  3. After the event, you are prompted to take out a series of waves of thugs as practice while completing the game’s tutorial. Pay attention to the basic controls.
  4. After taking out all the thugs, an event will trigger. You must now head to the yellow marker on the screen. Once you are close by, another event will trigger.
  5. The event will take you into the lobby of a tower. When inside, clear a path by taking out all the bad guys you see before you.
  6. After clearing the room, more bad guys will appear from an elevator. Take these guys out.

2. The Main Event

  1. After taking all the guys out, you will now need to traverse up the elevator shaft. After doing this, you will need to enter a linear air vent. follow the path until you reach a point where you can drop down out of the air vent.
  2. Jumping out the air vent, you will need to zip up to one floor a above and clear out all the thugs. There are many of them here so be careful and use the “Finisher”(Triangle+Circle when Focus is full) to take them out quickly.
  3. After clearing this floor of guys, the camera will center you on a yellow marker that’s one floor above which is the next objective you need to head to.
  4. In front of the Server Room, follow the tutorial and use R3 to investigate the area. A yellow marker will appear on an air vent on the room a short distance to the left of the server room door.
  5. Crawling along inside the air vent, you will come to an opening that you can use to perform a Vent Takedown on a thug below. Do so and continue moving forward in the air vent and drop down at the next opening.
  6. Dropping down from the air vent, you will need to take out a few thugs and then access the console in the room. Doing so will trigger an event.
  7. After you watch the event, more thugs will come rushing in to the console room. Take them out swiftly.
  8. After taking out the thugs in the server room, the ceiling will collapse revealing a yellow marker and the path that you need to progress to. Upon healing up a floor, you will be greeted by a few more thugs that you will need to take out.
  9. After dealing with the thugs, the camera will again center on another yellow marker one floor above you. Zipping up to this floor will trigger an event. After watching the event, zip up to the yellow marker on the next floor. On this floor, head into the burning room and at the yellow marker there will be a room that’s barricade by concrete debris that you need to open by holding R1+L1.
  10. Inside the newly opened room, head to the deepest parts and you will encounter a QTE (Quick Time Event). In this QTE, you will need to Mash the Square Button repeatedly. After the QTE. proceed forward along the corridors until you see an air vent.
  11. Jump inside the air vent and crawl along inside it until you come to another vent that you can drop down out of. After dropping out of the vent, turn around and move out of the room and you will see a short event. Take out all the rocket launcher men that have appeared in this area.
  12. After taking out all the rocket launcher men, follow the yellow marker that it on a nearby door that you need to open with L1+R1. Inside the room, hold R2 to Parkour over the debris and turn right to traverse over more debris until you come to a room with thugs. Take them out and head to the yellow marker further along the corridor and you will be met with an event.
  13. After watching the event, you will need to take out the Shield men. They guard frontal attacks and need to be attacked from behind. To do so, you need to attack them once and then get behind them by pressing circle after hitting their shield once. Be careful of the other guys attacking you while you do so.
  14. After clearing the room of the Shield men, head through the imposing red door indicated by the yellow marker. After watching the events, you will be put into a fight with two mounted turrets.
  15. Dodge the gunfire of the turrets by using circle and then web one of them up repeatedly with R1 while during the interval where the guns aren’t firing. After webbing the turret up, you will still need to dodge the remaining turrets gunfire. After dodging the gunfire and while the turret is getting ready to fire again, press and hold L1 +R1 in the direction of the webbed up turret to destroy it. Do the same thing on the remaining turret and an event will trigger.
  16. After the event, you will now need to fight a Brute (Kingpin). These kinds of enemies block your attacks. You have to keep your distance and web them up by pressing R1 repeatedly. When the Kingpin is webbed up, close the distance with Triangle and land a few Square attacks. Note that you will not be able to land that many attacks before the Kingpin breaks the webbing and starts blocking your attacks. In this case, dodge away from him and web him up with R1 again. Watch out for the Brute’s rushing attacks.
  17. After fighting the Kingpin for a while, an event will trigger and you will now need to Fight the Kingpin and thugs at the same time. Focus on the thugs and take them out one by one while watching out for the Brute’s rushing attacks. It is also a good idea to web up the Kingpin with R1 and take out the thugs while he is immobilized. You can also use the environmental interacterbles to stun the Brute and take out the thugs (These are debris you can throw at enemies by holding L1+R1)
  18. After clearing out the thugs and dealing enough damage to the Brute, you will now be able to perform a Finisher on him by using Triangle+Circle. After this, fight the Kingpin normally until an event triggers.
  19. A QTE will ensue: [Circle> L2+R2> Triangle> Square Repeatedly]
  20. After this, there will be events and the mission will be completed.

3. My OTHER Other Job

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Head the the yellow marker on the map to start the mission.
  2. After watching events, head to the yellow marker in the room to start working on a Circuit Board puzzle. The puzzle is a ‘Pipedream’ type mini-game where you have to adjust the pieces in the grid so that the flow of electricity has a path where it can reach the end point. In this case, the end point is the red looking circuit.
  3. Adjust the circuit board so that the electricity can flow from the start point or the end point. There are two more puzzles each with their own ramifications but are easy to complete. If you are having trouble, refer to the video below:

*Note that puzzles in this game be skipped altogether by toggling an opting in the settings menu.

  1. After completing the puzzles, investigate the objects on the desk. After this, investigate the other yellow marker on the desk on the other side of the room.
  2. This will trigger another Spectrograph puzzle where you have to match the patterns components with the rectangular blocks on the left. This is not very hard to do. Once again, refer to the video below:

  1. After completing this puzzle, head out of the lab at the door indicated by the yellow marker. **You can now access optional Circuit Projects & Spectrograph puzzles from the laboratory. Completing these gives you XP which is used for leveling up. More are unlocked when progressing through the story. For more information on these Side Missions, please refer to the Side Missions Page.

4. Keeping The Peace

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Head to the yellow marker on the map to start the mission.
  2. After watching the events, examine the Comms Tower right in front of you. This will trigger a minigame in which you must move the left and right analogue sticks to match the wavelength of the… waves. To clear this puzzle, hold the left stick at 6 o’ clock and the right stick at 2 o’ clock.
  3. After clearing the puzzle, head to the nearby red marker on the screen. You can also press R3 to scan for crimes such as this in free-roam gameplay.
  4. After watching the event at the red marker, take out the thugs. Thugs armed with Melee weapons block attacks. Use the Launcher attack (Hold square) and Webs (R1 repeatedly) to to deal damage to them.
  5. After clearing out the thugs, press R3 again to detect the next red marker and make your way there. You will encounter thugs. There is both a Brute and thugs armed with melee weapons so be careful. Make use of the environmental attack and R1 webs to handle crowd control and defeat the thugs. After all the thugs are down, there will be an event.
  6. After the event, follow the series of yellow markers that lead to a rooftop nearby where there is another Comms Tower. Repair the tower by clearing the wave-frequency minigame, this time, hold the left stick at 7 o’ clock and the right stick at 9 o’ clock. After repairing the tower, you will now be able to scan for points of interest nearby by pressing R3.
  7. Pressing R3 reveals a nearby green landmark. Head to that objective to find a collectible. After collecting the Backpack, head to the red marker on the map. After watching the event, take out the bad guys inside the store. Then take out the reinforcements that appear by car.
  8. After that, head for the next Comms Tower indicated by the yellow marker on the map. This time, solve the mini-game by moving the left stick to 3 o’ clock and the right stick to 11 ‘o clock.
  9. After this, the mission will be complete.

5. Something Old, Something New

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Head to the yellow marker on the map to start the mission.
  2. Follow the yellow marker inside the lab. After watching all the events, Create the new Advanced Suit.
  3. After watching the events, head to the yellow marker on the map. There you will see more events and be able to craft a new gadgets which you will then test in a battle upon the rooftop of a construction site.
  4. On the construction site, you will have to endure five waves of thugs. There will be many variants including Shield and Stun Rod thighs and even Rocket Launcher thugs. Make sure you use all of the tools you have learned thus far to take them out swiftly. There are checkpoints in between waves so don’t be too worried about dying.
  5. After you survive all five waves, you will learn about the existence of  Hideouts scattered around the map. These are optional areas where you will need to survive waves of enemies in order to conquer the area and clear out the hideout.

6. Landmarking

  1. At the yellow marker, you will see an event.
  2. You will need to take a picture of the Empire State Building. To do so, Hold L2 and then Snap with R1 when the viewfinder turns green. After completing this mission, there will be Landscape Snapshot collectibles that appear on the map. There are many landmarks to take snaps of with XP as an incentive.
  3. This will end this Mission.

7. For She’s A Jolly Good Fellow

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. At the yellow marker you will watch a series of events. After the events have finished, go outside. This will clear the mission.

8. Don’t Touch The Art

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Inside the air vent, drop down onto a beam in the museum. Lure the first guard as part of the tutorial by shooting webs at the ground and press square to do a Perched Takedown when he gets close enough. After this head through the vent at the yello marker and takeout the next guard from inside the vent with a Vent Takedown.
  2. After dropping down out of the air vent, take out the next guard form behind with a stealth takedown. Just move in slowly behind him and press Square. After this, quickly use L2+R2 to web zip to one of the upper beams in the room the guard was facing. Another guard will come in to investigate. Perform a perched takedown on him and then head into the next vent marked by a Yellow Marker.
  3. After dropping down out the vent, follow the tutorial and web the box to distract the guard. Do a perched takedown on the guard closest to you then take down the other guard however you want. Then investigate the yellow marker to see events.
  4. After watching the events, follow the lady in the suit and talk to her when you are ready.
  5. Follow the lady in the suit taking pictures of the items she talks about. Follow the in game tutorial. After an event, sneak around the room being careful not be spotted. The recommended route is to go around the jewelry shop like displays and make a break for the door when the lady is not paying attention.
  6. After investigating around the room, interact with the statue. Interact with its points of articulation as follows:
    • Close its mouth
    • Move the shoulder that is no the player’s right downward
    • Move the wrist that is on the player’s left upward
    • Move the hand that is on the player’s left upward
    • Move the head
  7. After this, you go to the display case in the room and take the scepter on the far right. Place it into the statue’s hand to see events.
  8. Web zip up to the roof indicated by the Yellow Marker.
  9. In the next room there are multiple guys that you will need to take out before moving forward. First, take out the guard that is facing the auction stage by standing on the beam above him and do a perched takedown. After this, take out the guard that is walking up the corridor of by moving along the same beam and doing another perched takedown.
  10. At near the entrance to the auction area, web the box in the room with L2+R1 to bring in one of the guards. Take him out by pressing Triangle while perched and then move back to the beam. On the beam, web the box with plates on it on the opposite side of the room near the entrance. As the guard makes his way into the room he will either spot his unconscious friend or go to the box. Take him out when he is inside the room. Use the R3 button to see when it is safe to take out thugs.
  11. In the next room with all of the display items, web zip on top of the black beams and make you way around it until you are on top of two guards that are talking to each other. Press R3 and web the box that glows blue that is closest to the display of a female painting (The one about the old school journalist if you investigated it earlier) This will give you an opportunity to take down both guards quickly. After this, move along the black beams and take out the remaining guard in this room.
  12. After this, an event will happen and you will be put into a fight with some thugs. Take them all out to see a few new thugs with a sickles. Then take all out to see events.
  13. After this, the mission will be over.

9. A Shocking Comeback

  1. Chase Shocker through the city. When you are close enough to him, press triangle to restrain him. To catch up to him, build momentum while swinging by releasing your swings with X. Also use the Zip line push-off technique to gain momentum while traversing. This can be done by zip-lining to a point with L2+R2, then pressing X before you reach that point to push off it and gain speed.
  2. You will have to catch him twice and some events will trigger and the mission will be completed.

10. The Mask

  1. Head for the room on the second floor to speak to Li. You will need to climb the staircase that’s located in the far back areas of FEAST. If you need help, use R3 to locate him.
  2. After watching the events, leave FEAST and the mission will be cleared.

11. A Day To Remember

12. Harry’s Passion Project

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Access the console in front you.
  2. Web swing through the clouds of toxins. there are 8 in total.
  3. After ‘collecting’ the clouds of smoke, you will then need to take photos of two cars and a chimney. The cars are red markers and the smokestack is a blue marker.
  4. After this, these Oscorp terminals will become available in the city as a optional task. Each has their own kind of tasks and clearing them nets you XP and Research Tokens.
  5. Taking these photos will end the mission.

13. Financial Shock

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Right off the bat, you are put into a boss battle with the Shocker. He has a force-field up so you can’t attack him directly, instead dodge his projectile based attacks and fling nearby rubble at him with R2+L2 whenever he shows an opening. This will give you a chance to close in on him with Triangle and deal damage with Square attacks. Keep doing this until you see an event.
  2. After the event, his attack patterns will change. He will now favor using large area of effect attacks that cover the ground. It would be beneficial to stay in the air by web swinging and wait for some rubble to appear. When there is rubble, throw it at him again to bring his force-field down and deal damage to him. Repeat this process until you see another event.
  3. After the event, Shocker will now become immobilized and focus on hitting you with long range attacks. He will fire his shockwaves in rapid succession giving you little else to do besides dodge him. When he gets tired, you will have an opening to pull down the chandelier above him. Do this by pressing L2+R2 and mashing square. There are two components that you need to pull off for the chandelier to come down. Once you have pulled one component off, go back to donging his attacks until he gets tired again.
  4. After pulling the chandelier down, you will see some events and the mission will be over.

14. Wheels Within Wheels

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Take out the snipers first by web zipping to the building they are standing on and take the out from behind. For the sniper inside the water tower, you can take him out from the front with the Triangle button.
  2. After dealing with the sniper, stealth takedown the rest of the guards. you can use webs as a distraction or take them out at range with triangle and then retreat to perched points. After all the thugs are down, there will be an event.
  3. Head through the vent at the back of the building. crawl on the wall to reach it. Inside the warehouse, go to the door marked by the yellow marker and then follow the subsequent instruction which result in you crafting a new gadget. Use the new electrical based gadget on the nearby junction box to open the door and see an event.
  4. Use R3 to find the junction box and use the new gadget on it.
  5. After opening the container by overriding the correct ejunction box, head to the second floor. In the corner of the room, there will be a container with scrape marks on the floor in front of it that you need to investigate.
  6. Bring the elevator up. Its marked with a Yellow Marker.
  7. Now you will need to press R3 to find the next junction box. Its located on the far end of the room from the container behind an electric fan. Use the electric gadget on it.
  8. After opening the container, use R3 to find the next junction box. its located inside an elevator on the first floor of the warehouse. You will need to go to the second floor just above the elevator to bring the elevator up in order to be able to use your electric gadget on the junction box.
  9. After overriding the junction box, you will then need to open a trap door.
  10. Inside the trap door, crawl on the wall and follow the tutorial as you make your way to the vault.
  11. Investigate the vault and examine the door which will lead to an event.
  12. After the event, take out all the thugs with the help you the cop.
  13. After you have cleaned up all the thugs, an event will happen and you will have to chase down a truck. Catch up to the truck and press triangle to mount it.
  14. On top of the truck, take out the three guys in the truck and a QTE will occur (Move Left Stick> R1> Mash Square)
  15. After this there will be events and the mission will be cleared.

**Fast travel will now be unlocked. This is accessible from the map.


15. Home Sweet Home

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Swing to the yellow marker on the map.
  2. Get into the building by entering the vent. This can be found by pressing R3.
  3. After investigating the truck in the building, leave the building and head to the Yellow Marker and investigate the two trucks there.
  4. Now head to the Yellow Marker on the map.
  5. At the yellow marker, take out the thugs and talk to the man.
  6. Unearth the treasure at the yellow marker and then craft a new gadget.
  7. After texting your new gadget on the thugs, head to the yellow marker on the map to end the mission.

16. Stakeout

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Use the camera in front of you to view a small little cat plushy that is peeping out of a door to a stairwell to the building below you.
  2. This will complete the mission. Black Cat Stakeouts have been unlocked. These are optional missions scattered throughout the world where you have to find these little cat plushies through a viewfinder. Completing them nets you XP

17. Couch Surfing

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Inside FEAST, head to the office marked by the Yellow Marker. It is on the second floor. Upon entering FEAST, you can take the staircase to your left to get there. Use R3 to find it.
  2. After investigating the couch and watching the events, leave FEAST to end the mission.

18. Straw, Meet Camel

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Inside the construction site, take out the guards stealthily. Make use of your gadgets, and the upper beams to do so. After you clear the room, head to the Yellow Marker for an event.
  2. After watching the event, you will be put into a fist fight. Take out the guys for another event.
  3. After the event, a small scale gang war will break out in the construction building. There are six points of conflict and you need to go to all of them and take out the demons to stop the conflict. Good luck!
  4. After clearing up all the conflict in the construction site, an event will occur and a Brute will drop down from the helicopter.
  5. Take out the brute by using your gadgets and environmental rubble to create chances to deal damage. The brute will also have reinforcements so make sure to take him out quickly before things get messy.
  6. After taking out all of the demons, head to the yellow marker to save the last Fisk thug. Once you have dealt with the demons attacking him, head for the roof to see an event.
  7. During the event, there will be a QTE: (X>X>X>O)
  8. After the event, chase the chopper through the city.
  9. After chasing the chopper for a while, you will be able to bring it down by pressing the triangle button. This will trigger an event.
  10. Get through the collapsing building and press triangle on the chopper. On the chopper, wait for the goon to attack you and press circle to counter him. In the time he is recovering, move up to the chopper’s engines and press square repeatedly. Once one engine has been revealed, do the same thing with the engine on the other side of the chopper and a QTE will occur: (L2+R2> Left Stick then R1> mash L2 and R2)
  11. This will end the mission

19. And The Award Goes To…

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. After watching the events, follow Mile’s mom. Head into the dilapidated building to your left and follow the game’s tutorial. You will encounter a QTE where you will need to mash Square.
  2. After the events, climb the rubble directly in front of you and make your way forward. After you climb the rubble, you will have to make you way along the wracked buildings while staying out of sight. Go along the path that has no guards while staying out of sight.
  3. After you clime a beam, wait for the guards to look away and then jump out and run to the yellow marker for an event and the end of the mission.

=ACT 2=

20. Dual Purpose

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Take out the thugs in the area. You can do this quietly or go in webs blazing.
  2. After taking out the thugs guarding the outside, head to the yellow marker. Now you will need to find three junction boxes and use you Electric Web gadget on them. The boxes can be found easily enough by pressing R3 and following the electrical cables stemming out of the locked door.
  3. After you have overrided all 3 junction boxes, head inside the building.
  4. Inside the building, crawl through a series of vents lead by the Yellow Marker.
  5. Dropping out of the vent, investigate the room Until you are prompted to go outside via the yellow marker. The next destination will now be indicated by the Yellow Marker on the map. Head there.
  6. At the marker, you will be in a compound and have to take out the guards stealthily. You are also given the opportunity to craft a new gadget: The Trip Mine. It pulls in any nearby guards and webs them up to a wall for an instant takedown.
  7. In the compound, take care of the 3 remaining guards on the ground floor before proceeding to the next section of the compound. Make use of your gadgets and the vantage points on the lampposts to take them down without alerting the others.
  8. After all of the guards are down, move to the area that is closed with the gate. Focus on the Snipers and take them out first by moving along the outskirts of the compound on the lampposts and billboards. After taking the Snipers down, pick off the guards one by one or take them out in a fistfight, your call.
  9. After you have dealt with the goons, pull open the doors and search the room. After you have seen all there is to see, turn around and leave the room to be confronted by a whip demon.
  10. The Whip demons have to be stunned with environment intractable. You can also try to make use of your gadgets to keep him at by but he will hit them out of the air so be careful.
  11. After taking care of the whip demon, you will be put into a fight with many goons including armed goons and whip goons. Take them out and clear the mission.

21. Hidden Agenda

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Inside FEAST, head to Li’s office.
  2. Zip line into the vent just outside Li’s office and explore the air vents following the Yellow Marker.
  3. Drop out of the air vent into Li’s office and investigate it. Fins a key in the office and then investigate the picture on the shrine in the room. There is a small keyhole on the right side of the picture frame. Use the key you found earlier to open it.
  4. Inside the painting, there will be a puzzle mechanism. To solve the puzzle, turn the right circle to the left four times and turn the left circle to the left two times. After this, turn the center circle until the circles line up with their indentations and the door will open.
  5. Investigate the secret room.
  6. After taking the folder, a trap will trip and you will have to web the two panels in the room to get it to turn off.
  7. After turning off the trap, drop down through the floor and leave the room to end the mission.

22. A Fresh Start

  1. Investigate the lab.
  2. After watching the events, complete the circuit puzzle. Refer to the video below:

  1. After clearing or skipping the puzzle and watching the events, leave the lab to complete the mission.

23. Dinner Date

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Sneak around inside the warehouse. Distract the first guard that was scared of the rat by knocking over the nearby tool box. Slip passed him as he comes to investigate.
  2. Follow the Yellow Markers as they lead you around the room. Be careful not to step on the broken glass or walk into the boxes. After you walk passed the guys who are building something, knock over the toolbox and slip passed the guard who comes to investigate.
  3. in the next area, there will be guard who patrols in a circle and is looking for a “socket driver”. Wait for him to move away and then slip passed him and push the button on the yellow box. This will cause the guard ahead to come investigate and you can use this as your chance to go passed up and up the ram as the yellow marker indicates.
  4. After coming out of the tunnel like area, watch for the guards patrolling around and make you way to the yellow marker. There are many paths you can take, but stay out of sight and pay attention to the orange question mark icon; if this fills up, a guard will spot you. Stay close to cover and move carefully. The yellow marker is indicating some yellow barrels. Investigating them will trigger an event.
  5. After the event, follow the yellow marker into the office. Push over the nearby toolbox to get the guards attention and then go into the office while he is distracted.
  6. Investigate the inside of the office following the game’s tutorial. After you have investigated the office, events will happen and the mission will be cleared.

24. Up The Water Spout…

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Help the cops by taking out the demons.
  2. Once the demons are down, investigate the garage at the yellow marker to go inside.
  3. Inside, talk to the wounded man in front of you on the ground. After this you will be put into a fight with demons.
  4. Take out all of the demons in the parking lot including the reinforcements that appear by elevator.
  5. After this, go up the elevator shaft indicated by the yellow marker.
  6. In the elevator shaft, there will guards looking in on each floor. If you crawl up underneath t hem you can stealth them with little effort.
  7. In the elevator shaft, be careful of the moving elevators. It is recommended that you move along the middle part of the shaft as the elevators only go up and down on the left and right paths. At the top of the elevator shaft, web zip through the vent and follow the yellow markers.
  8. In the next area, there will be another elevator shaft that you will need to ascend. This time, there will be guards on both walls shinning their flashlights over the area. Stay out of the flashlights as you ascend and this time use the middle path but watch for the elevator going up and down. If the elevator is descending and you are in the way, quickly run to the side by holding R2 while moving. But be careful to stay out of the lights.
  9. At the top of shaft, exit though the sequence of vents to reveal another elevator shaft. In this one, the enemies will be dropping firebombs down the shaft so it is beneficial to move quickly up the shaft by holding R2. Be careful of the elevators descending and make your way the shaft into a vent at the top.
  10. After watching the event, take out the two demons in front of you, You can use a gadget to take them out together or cause a distraction. After you deal with them head into the next section of the room.
  11. Take out the thugs stealthily or in a fistfight, which ever way you prefer. Taking them out via stealth is easier and you can make use of the beams in the room to take out most of them.
  12. After the room is cleared, talk to the man at the yellow marker and you will be ambushed by a Katana demon. These are similar to the Whip Demons and you need to make use of the throwables in the environment to take them down. After cleaning up the katana thug and his reinforcements, talk to the man at the yellow marker.
  13. This will trigger an event followed by a QTE: (Left Stick then R1 five times). After this, the mission will be cleared.

25. What’s In The Box?

26. Back To School

  1. Make your way through the party. When you see a person in an Electro costume (Green and Yellow with lighting bolt mask) at a cross road go left to until you find Mysterio (Fish Bowl head) and interact with him. Chase Mysterio inside the mirror house for an event.
  2. After the event, leave the mirror house to spot a man in a Vulture costume on a pedastal. Use R3 to find a nearby ramp you can use to Parkour up to the vulture for an event.
  3. After the event, make your way to the dance-floor and talk to the Lizard.
  4. After the event, head into the building via the vent on the second floor.
  5. Inside the building, you will be put into a QTE (Left Stick then R1) followed by a fistfight with demons. Take the demons out being careful of the whip demon. Remember that you have to use throwables to stun the whip demon to take him down. After all the demons are down head into the vent at the yellow marker.
  6. Inside the air vent, there are three exits after using the electric web on the junction bos. Skip the first two exits and go to the third one where there is a guard standing below. Use R3 and wait until he is SAFE for a vent takedown. After taking him down, jump out the vent and use the trip mine and web bomb and the unsuspecting guards to takedown all of them.
  7. After the fight, head to the yellow marker to crawl on the outside of the building which will take you into another vent that leads to an event.
  8. After the event, take out all of the demons in the room and then follow the yellow marker outside of the building. Outside the building you will need to take care of the enemies while following the yellow marker leading to an event and the end of the mission.

27. Spider-Hack

  1. Head to the Yellow Marker near the base of building and then scan for a junction box with R3. Follow the cables up the wall to disable the first security mechanism.
  2. After this, there will be laser sights aimed at the building. You now have to make your way up the building following the glowing wires, looking for the remaining security systems. Stay out of sight of the laser sights; wait for them to move out of the way and then cover ground quickly by running up the building with R2 (Keep in mind you can’t turn left and right quickly while running so if you need to dodge a laser sight, rather release R2 and crawl away from it.
  3. After disabling the second security mechanism, drones will now scan the building with spotlights much larger than the laser sights. move very carefully following the glowing wires to the next security mechanism box thingy.
  4. After disabling the third security mechanism, a helicopter with a flood light will appear and scan the building. There is a lot of lights to stay out of, but if you move carefully and run when you see an opening, it shouldn’t be too hard to make your way to the last security mechanism that you need to disable.
  5. After disabling the last security mechanism on the neon sight, head to the vent at the yellow marker and make your way through it.
  6. Dropping out of the vent, investigate the nearby computer after which the mission will be cleared.

28. Uninvited

  1. Follow the tutorial and throw the lure at the specified position (To the right of the guard). When he is distracted rush into the compound and cover behind some crates.
  2. For the next guard, throw the lure near the silver sable white tents and then run up the stairs when he is distracted.
  3. After taking a photo of the board at the top of the stairs, follow the yellow markers until you see a yellow box. Push the button on the box to draw in the nearby guard and then rush right through the tent when he is distracted.
  4. Coming out of the tent, you will see a nearby toolbox that you can use to distract the guard ahead. Push it over and slip passed him when he is distracted.
  5. Coming out of the corridor, the truck will start. You need to get on the other side of it and use it as cover while it is driving away. Use R2 to run and match your speed with the truck. Follow the yellow markers upstairs.
  6. up the stairs, you will see another toolbox right in front of you. push it to distract the guard and move right passed him following the yellow markers.
  7. Before you descend the stairs, there will be another guard watching the staircase. Throw one of your lures to his right in the corner of the walkway and go down the stairs.
  8. After taking a picture of the board, you will see another yellow box that you can use to distract the guards. Push the button on the yellow box and run to the box’ right passed all the guards and then go to the right wall to find a small opening next to some barricades.
  9. Cling to the right wall and move along the tent until you come out to a pair of blue drums and a guard looking right in your direction. Taking cover behind the drums, use the lure and throw it to the guards right and go into the tent ahead while he is distracted. When getting ready to throw the lure, look at the guard. If he is blue, it means that the area you are trying to throw to will distract him. Look for the area that is the furthest out but will still distract the guard.
  10. Inside the tent there will be an event and the mission will be over.

29. Strong Connections

  1. In the lab, repair the object at the yellow marker. This will cause a three stage puzzle to occur. You may skip the puzzle or follow the video below to clear it:

  1. After clearing the puzzle and watching the subsequent events, go to the yellow marker in the room.
  2. After investigating the room, leave the lab and the mission will be cleared.

30. First Day

  1. Take out the thugs.
  2. Follow the yellow markers through the city.
  3. Coming out of the shopping district, use the hacking app to hack the nearby drone and jump the fence. Follow the yellow markers and use the hacking app again to hack a nearby sign to distract the guards and slip passed them. Hack the stationery drone to get passed the next guard and go into a backyard.
  4. Go up the scaffolding to the right. On the scaffolding, hack the drone and make your way passed it. Take cover being the second set of ZOOM boxes and hack the next drone. Be careful to not knock the boxes over.
  5. Jump down and hack the white vehicle you see it your right and go behind the guard and out of the backyard.
  6. Go to the FEAST shelter. Its the building straight ahead behind the basketball courts. If you get lost, Use R3 to bring up the yellow marker.
  7. After watching events, leave the shelter and the mission will be cleared.

31. Collision Course

  1. After the events, mount the APC.
  2. Take out all of the guys on top of the APC.
  3. When reinforcements appear, follow the in-game prompts to take out the pursuing vehicles.
  4. After taking out all the guys, you will be in a QTE: (Circle> Left Stick then R1)
  5. Follow Mister Negative.
  6. When the corrupted thugs appear, go after mister negative. You will have to through explosives at a large mask but there is a Ship Thug nearby that will annoy you. Use the Impact Web or normal webs to restrain him while you focus on throwing the explosives at the mask.
  7. After breaking the mask you will be in another QTE: (L2+R2)
  8. After this events, the mission will be complete.

32. The One That Got Away

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Head onto the show-floor and examine the Oscorp display stands. After inspecting a few, a yellow marked stand will appear there if you press R3. Go there to see an event.
  2. After the events, mark points of interest. Mark the green boxes ahead of you with square and mark the vent entrance behind you. Use R3 to find these.
  3. After a while, mark the clock in the center of the room then move to take the item at the yellow marker.
  4. After the event, follow the yellow markers for another event.
  5. Jump over the railing and ascend the left staircase in front of you to see another event.
  6. After the event, aim the lure at the corner of the green box thingy to distract the guard. Mark the other guard with square to take him out while the other is distracted. After one is down, mark the other guard you distracted and take him out.
  7. Descend the stairs to the right and mark the guard in the distance in front of you. Taking cover behind the luggage in front of you, there will be two guards who are looking at each other. Throw the lure behind the purple screen on the left to distract one of the guards. When he turns his back, mark the other one to be taken out and then mark the distracted one to be taken out as well.
  8. Move forwards along the right path of the show-floor. There is one guard patrolling there, but he doesn’t have anyone watching him so you can mark him for a takedown as soon as you see him.
  9. Now go around to the left side of the show room floor where there are tow more guards. One of them is stationery and the other moves between the purple screens and looking into his friends eyes. Taking cover behind the small Oscorp display stand, throw the lure into the purple screen area when the guard approaches. You may need to use two lures to get him into a position for a takedown.
  10. After this, push the button on one of the two nearby screens to draw in another guard and then take him down when he is alone.
  11. Now head to the right side of the room where there are two guards looking into each other’s eyes lovingly. Taking cover behind the small Oscorp industries sign, throw the lure on the nearby staircase to distract the one on the right and move in to take the one on the left out. After this, take the distracted one out as well. If he is not able to be marked, throw another lure further on the staircase.
  12. Make your way to the yellow marker for a short event.
  13. After the event, request a distraction and then make your way directly to the yellow marker. Don’t worry about getting spotted.
  14. You will now have to perform a short bomb-disposal minigame. To clear it, do the following:
    1. On the side where you can remove wires, Rotate the device so that the red wire is on top
    2. First remove the wire underneath the red wire.
    3. Then remove the 4th wire from the top (the last wire)
    4. Next, remove the only remaining wire that is not the red wire.
    5. Lastly, remove the red wire
  15. After seeing an event, you will have to take out the remaining thugs in the room quietly. Use the two USA flagpoles as vantage points and then flying kick SAFE guards whenever you have the chance. Also use your gadgets to distract them The trip wires are very handy here.
  16. After taking out all the thugs, an event will happen and you will be in a fist fight with a lot of goons. Deal with them and head to the yellow marker.
  17. You now have to fight Li. Inside the first train cart, use square attacks on him at close range and then dodge when he is about to attack.
  18. In the second train cart, keep your distance and dodge to the left and right with Circle until he gets tired. When he is tired, zip in on him and attack him with square attacks. When he recovers, you will now need to dodge an attack with X. He will only use this attack from now on so time your X and dodge him until he gets tired. When he is tired, zip in on him and attack him with Square until you see an event.
  19. In the third train cart, he will alternate between his attacks. Look at his body when he is readying for an attack. If his arms are together, dodge to the side with circle. If his arms are apart, dodge upward with X. Dodge until he gets tired then zip in on him and attack him with square. After this you will see an event.
  20. During the event, you will be put into a QTE: (Square> Square> Mash R2 and L2> Mash Square)
  21. After this, the mission will be cleared.

33. Breakthrough

35. Out Of The Frying Pan…

  1. Take out all of the goons you see before you. There are a lot of them that stretch all the way to the depths of the prison. After this a yellow marker will appear, head there.
  2. After dealing with the situation on the rooftop, head to the car at the yellow marker and take out the guys there. After that, clean up the remaining thugs in the area.
  3. Clearing all the thugs in the area will trigger a QTE (Mash Square> Circle). Clearing this will have more events to follow.
  4. After the events, clear out the thugs in the block and then follow the yellow markers to chase after Electro.
  5. After watching events, take out the thugs and continue following the yellow markers after Electro.
  6. Chase Electro throughout the prison. There will be many subsequent events leading to a situation where you have to chase him vertically up a long corridor. When you see an increasing brightness in the electricity ahead, dodge left and right while running to evade incoming attacks.
  7. At the top of the corridor, you will see an event that leads to the end of the mission.

=ACT3=

36. …Into The Fire

  1. Staring this mission will give you a choice of two objectives. You will have to clear them both but the order is up to you.
  2. Electro is causing trouble at the Upper East Police Station:
    1. At the scene, there are five Transformers that you need to destroy with your web shooters. One is being carried by the chopper, three are on rooftops and the last one is in the the police courtyard. These Transformers can also be found by pressing R3 and are the yellow squares on the map.
    2. After destroying the five Transformers, you will have to help the police fight off the demons. There are all kinds of demons with multiple Katana demons. Use your gadgets, throwables and dodge frequently to get through this.
    3. After you take these guys down, you will have to move to the other objective if you haven’t done it already, or you will need to head to the new yellow marker on the map for an event and the end of the mission.
  3. Rhino is causing trouble at the Upper West Police Station:
    1. At the scene, you will have to take out the thugs at three barricades. These are the yellow squares on the map.
    2. After handling the barricades, you will now have to take out the thugs on the rooftops at three locations. Once again, these are the yellow squares on the map.
    3. On the rooftops, you will be bothers by men with Jetpacks. Use your gadgets and aerial takedowns to deal with them quickly. You can also stay in the air by zipping to them with triangle.
    4. After clearing out the rooftops, you will have to move to the other objective if you haven’t done so already, or you will need to head to the new yellow marker on the map for an event and the end of the mission.

37. Picking Up The Trail

  1. Investigate the sign in on the ground in front of you. This will trigger a Spectrograph puzzle (Remember, the ones that appear in story are optional.) To clear the spectrograph, follow the directions below:
    1. For the left color pattern, use the 5th and 6th patterns from the top
    2. For the middle color pattern, use the 2nd and 7th patterns from the top
    3. For the right color pattern, use the 1st and 4th patterns from the top.
  2. After clearing the puzzle, pressing R3 will now yield paths that you will need to follow. Follow the left vapor trail. When it makes its first branch, go with the right path to follow it all the way the building. On top of the building, head inside the access hatch at the marker.
  3. Inside the room, use R3 to find a junction box and use your Electric Webs on it. After this, search the room. Once you have examined everything in the room including Icarus, there will be an event and you will be thrust into a boss fight.
  4. In this boss fight, you will have to fight both Electro and Vulture simultaneously. Electro will be up first. You have to dodge his electric strikes while web swinging with Circle and use your web shooters to restrain him with L2+R1. When he is restrained, web zip to him with Triangle and pile on the pain with square. Like a brute, he will only let you do one full combo before he recovers and goes back to firing at you from long distance. Repeat the process until he tries to draw energy from a Transformer. When he draws energy from the Transformer, destroy it with your web shooters. Take note you have to be kind of close to do this and you have to evade the attacks the Transformer makes.
  5. After this scene, Vulture will be up next. He will rush at you and you will have to dodge him with Circe attacks and he will fire projectiles at you that you will need to dodge and then throw back at him with L1+R1. Both create chances for you to web zip in on him and deal damage.
  6. After a while, Electro will be back and you will have to fight them simultaneously.
  7. You will now have to dodge both Electro’s lighting attacks and Vultures rush attacks. This is easier than it sounds and you just have to watch for Spidey’s Spider-sense on his head. When you see it act up, dodge and you either will have an opportunity to use your web shooters on Electro, or web zip to Vulture to deal damage. It seems like they are respectful and don’t attack you while you are dealing damage to the other so don’t worry too much.
  8. Electro will still have two more transformers to get through and Vulture will have to take a lot more beatings before going down. Their attack patterns don’t change so if you get the hang of them individually, fighting them together will not be that much harder.
  9. After taking down Electro and vulture, the mission will be over.

38. Streets Of Poison

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Swinging across the water being careful not to fall into it and head for the rooftop at the yellow marker where you will be met with a Spectrograph Puzzle (Remember that the puzzles in story are skippable) Follow the directions below to clear the puzzle:
    1. For the left color pattern, use the 3rd, 5th and 8th patterns from the top
    2. For the middle color pattern, use the 4th and 6th patterns from the top
    3. For the right color pattern, use the 1st and 2nd patterns from the top.
  2. After clearing the puzzle, rush to the yellow marker being careful not to touch the water.
  3. Inside the greenhouse, follow the Yellow Markers to get the first component.
  4. Now you will need to swing through the city being careful not to touch the water while dodging the the incoming attacks with Circle.
  5. At the destination, follow the Yellow Markers again to get the second component.
  6. Now you will once again need to swing through the city being careful not to touch the water while dodging the the incoming attacks with Circle.
  7. At the lab, you will be put into a fight with Scorpions.
  8. Use your webs and throwables to stun the Scorpions and create chances for damage. Landing a full combo will cause them to disappear. They only have two attacks. Flinging long range poison and a pouncing attack. Watch your spider-sense and deal with them.
  9. Leaving the lab will mean the end of the mission.

39. Supply Run

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Make your way to the marker avoiding the broken glass on the floor ahead of you. Behind the box with the blue tarp on it, hack the light and move forward to the yellow marker while the thug is distracted.
  2. Hope over the broken brick wall and inspect the items in the tent.
  3. After this, hack the nearby red box on the right wall to distract the thug and make your way passed him.
  4. Taking cover behind the Sable Intl boxes, hack the nearby generator to the right to get passed the guard and take cover behind some boxes near the body of a Sable soldier.
  5. Next, follow the path that the dead body was laying in until you see a yellow light you can hack. Do so and continue along the path until you come out to another dead body.
  6. Taking cover behind the boxes, hack the nearby drone and run right passed the guard as his back is turned. Don’t worry about getting heard or spotted, just move quickly to the yellow marker.
  7. Turn left and head straight and take cover behind some boxes. Here, you must hack the light and then move quickly while avoiding the laser sight and head into the overturned car. Be careful of the broken glass on the ground.
  8. Coming out of the car, run straight to the items for an event.
  9. After the event, take cover behind the boxes. Hack the light and run into the tunnel while the man is distracted.
  10. At the end of the tunnel, wait for the man to pass by you and then jump out and head straight over the boxes.
  11. Now, head for the Yellow Marker. Move quickly when the man’s back is turned and take cover behind boxes when he is facing your way.
  12. When you are free, make a run for it following the yellow marker through the containers. You will eventually end up in another tunnel.
  13. After jumping out of the tunnel, take cover behind the boxes and hack a light on the far right end of the room. Run to the yellow marker while the man is distracted.
  14. Inside the container, take cover behind the boxes and hack another light to get the man to destroy the boxes and get by him. After this, head straight and there will be events leading to the end of the mission.

40. Heavy Hitter

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Right off the bat, you will be put into a boss fight with Rhino. To beat him you have to create an opening for damage by positioning yourself with a throwable between you and Rhino. Then when he is getting ready to rush at you, pull the throwable down with L1+R1 and he will run into it. Look at his body when he is readying an attack. If he punches his left fist to the ground, he is doing to rush you. Pull down the interactible when you see this. He can also throw you with boulders as his alternate long range attack. He indicates that he is doing this by punching his right fist to the ground (Note that I say Rhino’s left/right). Don’t pull down the interactible if he is going to throw something at you. If you are running low on throwables to use, roam around the area looking for R1+L1 signs.
  2. After a few combos, an event will trigger. Now you will have to face both Rhino and Scorpion at the same time. Scorpion operated identically to how he did in the previous encounter – he will lay prone far away and attempt to hit you with two attacks; a projectile of poison and a pounce. Both are relatively easy to dodge, and you only have to web up the Scorpion to deal damage to him.
  3. Focus on the Rhino. Position yourself with throwables in the middle like earlier and while dodging Scorpions attacks. The moment Rhino looks like he will rush you, pull down the throwable and web up Scorpion right away to get a chance to deal damage to Rhino. Repeat this process until an event happens.
  4. An alternate method of dealing with these tow together is to focus on Scorpion and let Rhino rush into him when you web him up and attack him.
  5. Continue this for a while and an event will trigger which will be the end of the mission.

41. Step Into My Parlor…

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. In the lobby, talk to three people to create a distraction and then head into the security room when the guards come out.
  2. Inside the corridor, take the stun gun and then take out the two guards in the area. The second guard needs to be distracted with a lure.
  3. Take out the guard in the security room and interact with the panel. After this, follow the Yellow Markers to the elevator.
  4. After the event, inspect the inside of the suite with R3 and go to any glowing items on the tables that indicate points of interest. After putting on the mask, follow the in game tutorial and yellow markers into the bedroom.
  5. Search the dining room and rest of the house following the yellow marker and using R3 to highlight points of interest.
  6. Finding the key behind the photo frame in Norman’s room, head for the yellow marker. After reading the diary, in the room there will be an event.
  7. After the event, wait for the two guards ahead to separate then take down the one that goes right. Follow the other one only to see another guard appear out of a room and look out the window. Take him out as he looks out the window and continue following the other guard.
  8. In the entrance hall, takedown the guard with his back turned to you and then take out the remaining guard in the room.
  9. Interact with the keypad to gain entrance to the secret room. Investigate the secret room and access the board to learn the location you are looking for. Set the three options to Dr. Michaels; Records; Charlie Team to trigger an event.
  10. Leave the room and head right. Snake along the right wall taking out the guard directly in front of you. In the kitchen, ignore the guard and follow the yellow markers evading guards along the way.
  11. On the balcony take out the guard marked by a yellow marker to end the mission.

42. The Heart Of The Matter

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Take out the demons on the two sniper areas. There are three demons each in total but they are easy enough to take down if you approach from behind and take out the ones who are SAFE.
  2. After taking down the guards in the sniper areas, take out the remaining guards on the ground floor using the lampposts as vantage points.
  3. After dealing with the demons, men on jetpacks will appear and ambush you. Take out all the sable soldiers and then head to the Yellow Marker.
  4. Follow the Yellow Markers down into the depths of the building.
  5. After some events, you will have to fight Mister Negative. He is roughly the same as when you did battle with him in the train. He will dodge all head on attacks at close range and he will use projectile shockwaves at long range. You must hang at long range until he gets tired or you see an opening then zip into him with triangle and do some damage. You may also use throwables to stun him but these need quite a big opening so don’t use them recklessly. Remember – if his arms are together he will fire a vertical shockwave and if they are apart, he will fire a horizontal shockwave.
  6. After attacking him like this and passing the QTE (Mash Square) you will see an event.
  7. After the event, you will enter the second phase of the boss fight where he will send corrupted at you. These can be defeated in one punch so don’t worry about them too much. Fight Mister Negative in the same way as you did before but be aware of the Corrupted. When he calls in the big demon, web swing and get as high off the ground as possible. Repeat this process until he is down and the mission will be over.

43. Pax In The Bello

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. After an event, you will be put into a fight with Doctor Octopus. This is a tough fight and you have to be proficient at dodging and mobility to not get hit. Stay on the defensive and shoot him with webs while dodging his attacks. When he pounces on you, dodge and webzip to him to deal some damage. You may also web zip to him after smaller opening but you will only get two hits on him before he recovers.
  2. You can use the suit power to fire webs consistently.When you web him enough, he will become vulnerable and a triangle will appear over his head. That’s your chance to deal proper damage.If you have done damage to him, he will start throwing projectiles at you. Jump and throw them back at him to create another opening.
  3. After dealing a bit of damage to him, an event will trigger. He will jump on the tower and the floor will become electrified. On top of this, he will throw rubble at you so you have to keep moving. You have to throw the rubble back at him while it is in midair to create an opening to deal damage. Doing so will take him back to the previous phase.
  4. Fight him the same way as before and after you have done enough damage top him, he will once again mount the tower and throw rubble at you. Once again throw it back to create an opening for damage.
  5. In the final phase of this fight, wait for him to attack and then dodge and retaliate with attacks of your own. Repeat this process until he goes down and that will be the end of the mission.

=CHAPTER 1: THE HEIST=

1. The Maria

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. After watching the events at the yellow marker, take out all the thugs in the compound.
  2. After dealing with the Thugs, use R3 to investigate the yellow points of interest around the building. Make your way up to the rooftop skylight for an event.
  3. Inside the museum, Examine the yellow marker to trigger a small event which will prompt you to look for handprints. Use R3 to examine the three nearby yellow locations for the handprints. After all handprints are collected, head back to the yellow marker.
  4. At the event, clear the easy circuit puzzle or skip it. Enter the security room, examine the yellow markers and then leave the room and go to the next yellow marker for an event.
  5. After the event, take out all of the guys inside the museum. After you take out a few, they will try to steal items and leave the museum. Go to the exit on the ground floor and cut them off as they attempt this. Use your webs to stop them from moving and take them out quickly.
  6. After watching the events, take out all of the rocket launcher guys quickly. After clearing the room head to the painting one more time to end this mission.

2. The Trouble with Arson

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Steer the Spider-bot according to the proximity compass to the left side of the screen. You are to disarm 4 bombs by pressing Triangle near them. The first bomb is under a car in front of you, the next bomb is behind some boxes inside a parked truck. The next bomb is under another parked car and the final bomb is under a dumpster. After disabling all the bombs, that will be the end of the mission.

*Clearing this mission unlocks a new Maggia crimes around the city.


3. Long Lost Loot

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Swing to the Yellow Marker.
  2. At the marker follow the proximity compass to a box quite high up the Chrysler Building. You may use R3 to highlight is location when you are nearby but the best way to find it is to crawl slowly up the building observing the distance change on the proximity compass. Finding the item ends this mission.

*Clearing this mission unlocks a new Stolen Paintings collectible in each district around the city.


4. Like Old Times

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. At the location, take out all of the thugs for an event.
  2. After watching the event, jump to avoid the Gatling gun fire from the Brute. Use your webs to restrain him and take out all of his accompanying friends. Finally, finish off the Brute.
  3. After the events, head to the yellow maker a short distance away. At the yellow marker, use R3 to follow the tracks to the roof and examine the stakeout gear. Move the scope a short distance upward and look through the two green doors on a building a few blocks away.
  4. After the events, take out the thugs. Deal with the Gatling Gun Brute in the same way as earlier. After clearing the rooftop of the thugs and heading to the yellow marker, this mission will be over.

5. Something is Screwy

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Take out the thugs on the rooftops. After this, investigate the item on the table nearby at the yellow marker to clear the mission.

*Clearing this mission unlocks Screwball Challenges around the city.


6. Trail of the Cat

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Talk to the EMT at the Yellow Marker.
  2. Use R3 to highlight a yellow point of interest around the building and head to that area to investigate it.
  3. Clear or skip the easy Spectrograph you are tasked with.
  4. After this, follow the blue cloud to another yellow marker for a fist fight. Take care of the thugs quickly and continue following the blue cloud.
  5. A short distance away, you will be met with another event leading to a firefight. Take out the thugs to end this mission.

7. Pursuing The Truth

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. After the event, chase Black Cat through the city. When you get close enough, press triangle for an event.
  2. After the event, chase Black Cat through the subway. Use your Web Zip and Point jumps to move quickly though the tunnels. Once you  have exited the subway, there will be another event.
  3. After this event, chase Black Cat on the rooftops. When you get close to her, slow her down with R1 webs. Be careful of the grenades she leaves behind and heal yourself if necessary. Once you have slowed her down with webs enough, you can press Triangle to get an event and clear the mission.

8. Newsflash

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Enter the compound following the yellow marker.
  2. Take out the guard right in front of you with the Stun Gun and proceed deeper into the compound. Knock over the toolbox in front of you and then throw the lure to distract the guard who is tending to the fake bills.
  3. Proceed deeper into the compound. Take a picture of the counterfeit bills and head up the wooden ramp. Knock over the toolbox in front of you and then take out the guard that goes to investigate. Proceed forward and take a picture of the two men to trigger an event.
  4. Sneak through the compound. Go passed the first guard and turn on the fan to distract the guard and make your way forward.
  5. Take out the next guard examining plans on the wooden table. Sneak passed the next guard and leave the compound on the left side of the truck for an event and the end of the mission.

9. Cover for the Cat

  1. Take out all the mobs in front of the building. A Gatling Gun Brute will appear. Be sure to use a Finisher on him (requires two bars of focus). Taking out all of the thugs will trigger an event and end the mission.

10. Follow the Money

  1. Take out the thugs in the compound. You have to do this stealthily. You have press Right on the D-pad to have Black Cat take out a thug marked with a cat icon. Use this to handle pairs of guards or guards that watch each other.
  2. After taking out all the guards and watching the event, search the containers in the shipyard by highlighting them with R3. There are 4 containers to search in total.
  3. After searching all the containers, take out the thugs. There will be a lot of them this time so pace yourself. Two Gatling Brutes will appear, save your focus for them.
  4. After clearing the area of the thugs, head to the yellow marker for events.
  5. After the events, swing to the new yellow marker around 1.5km away for an event and the end of the mission and this chapter of the DLC.

=CHAPTER 2: TURF WARS=

1. Blindsided

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. After taking out all the hordes of thugs in the compound head to the yellow marker on the roof of the sanitarium.
  2. Make your way through the vent and follow the path along the inside of the old building, Parkour-ing and removing obstacles along the way. You will eventually come to a lone guard. Take him out and investigate the room.
  3. After investigating the room, head into a vent in the top corner wall of the room and proceed to the next area.
  4. In the next room, you will have to take out the guards quietly. You can do this by making use of your gadgets to lure guards and using the perched positions to take them out when they are alone (Indicated as SAFE when pressing R3). After clearing out the guards, head into the next room.
  5. Investigate the room and then head into the vent to trigger an event and the end of the mission.

2. The Bar With No Name

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Descend the stairs and then climb the yellow pipe on your right to enter the bar. Disable the fans with an EMP blast and proceed along the vent until you come out to the main part of the bar.
  2. Scan the room with R3 and use the triangle button on the highlighted couple of gentlemen sitting at a booth to listen in on their conversation.
  3. After this, proceed along the vent  until you come out in the kitchen. In the kitchen, stay out of the guard’s sight and proceed along the counter on the left side of the kitchen to get into the diner portion of the room. This will take you into the bar area.
  4. Drop down to the floor and exit the bar by going underneath the small doors to the left and you will be on the main floor.
  5. On the main floor, use R3 to highlight people of interest and then eavesdrop on their conversations with triangle. Make sure you hide in the shadows of tables and other objects to not get seen.  There are instances where you need to eavesdrop on people.
  6. After this, head to the yellow marker near the pinball machines and use an EMP charge to unlock the door leading to the back. In the back parts of the bar, make your way until you see a pair looking at a map. Enter the vent to the right and go up the scaffolding until you can take a picture of the map which will unlock a new side mission type in the world.
  7. After this, follow the yellow marker and enter the toilet. Inside the toilet go tho the stall all the way in the back and enter the hole in the wall. Disengage the fan with an EMP blast and then continue onward.
  8. Inside the room, disengage the AM radio and the lights. The lights are on an elevated platform that you can get to from a ramp in the backside of the room from where you entered.
  9. After you have distracted the two guards by disengaging the lights and the radio, head back to the ramp you used to reach the light switch and use it to get into the table that the has the plans the guards were looking at and take a picture to end this mission.

3. Jury Rigging

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. In this mission, you are to escort a police convoy until you reach a Hammerhead roadblock and then take out all of the thugs at the roadblock. This is a very short mission and unlocks Hammerhead gang crimes around the city.


4. Last Stand

  1. Take out all of the thugs in front of the theater.
  2. After a while, there will be thugs on the roof with bombs armed that you’ll need to disarm. Take out the thugs swiftly and then disarm the two bombs.
  3. The same thing will happen on the other side of the rooftop; but this time its better to trip up the thugs with a couple of suspension matrices and then take out the bombs while they are incapacitated.
  4. After all the thugs are down, head into the vent and investigate the inside of the building for an event and the end of the mission.

5. Season Two

  1. This mission is only an event which will unlock more Screwball Challenges.

6. Lockup

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Escort the police convoy and take out any snipers along the route. These guys are sharpshooters so be prepared to dodge at any time. You can make use of your gadgets to take them out quickly.
  2. After taking out two sets of snipers, follow the convoy again until it gets ambushed in Central Park. Take out all of the attackers and then head to the second convoy at the yellow marker.
  3. At the second convoy, there will be two Gatling Gun thugs making trouble. Take out one without being seen and then build up enough focus to use a takedown on the other. After this, clean up the hordes of thugs that appear.
  4. The thugs will try to escape in two trucks. You must chase them down and take out the two trucks to get an event.
  5. After watching the event, head to the yellow marker for an event and the end of the mission.

7. Yuri’s Revenge

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Head inside the bar and investigate the scene. Collect the Spider-bot and answer the phone for information.
  2. After this, head out of the bar to the yellow marker in the city.
  3. At the marker, use R3 to highlight blue points of interest and then enter the blue zones and hold triangle to can for the user of a cellphone. After scanning a few of the blue points, an event should trigger.
  4. After the event, follow the culprit though the city until you reach a container yard.
  5. In the complex, follow close to the marked culprit to listen in on conversations to glean information. There are 4 ground of thugs highlighted when you press R3 which means you must do this 4 times while stealthily taking out the guards in the area.
  6. After you have listened to the conversations, clear the area of thugs for an event and the end of the mission.

8. Bring The Hammer Down

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. You will be in the middle of a fierce firefight. You will also have to stop the guards from activating the cement mixer or you will fail the mission. Take out the thugs fast and hard but pace yourself and be careful how you use your focus because there’s a lot of reinforcements on the way. After you have taken out all of the thugs, there will be an event followed by a boss fight.
  2. In this boss fight, focus on Hammerhead and deal damage to him when you can. Watch your spider-sense and prepare to dodge any attacks he may throw at you. If you dodge his charging attack, you have an opening to deal damage. You may also use your webs on Hammerhead to create another chance to deal damage.
  3. After dealing a certain amount of damage to Hammerhead, there will be an event that brings in even more thugs and these ones are harder to deal with. Use takedowns on the thugs while dealing damage to Hammerhead when openings present themselves. Make use of your Electric Webs as well to stun him and create a chance for damage.
  4. Defeating Hammerhead will end this mission and this chapter of the DLC.

=CHAPTER 3: SILVER LINING=

1. Old Friends

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. At the yellow marker, you will be in a firefight with a group of thugs. Take out the minor thugs first and build up focus to use a Takedown on the Gatling Gun thug to end the battle quickly. Take out any reinforcements that may appear.
  2. After watching the event, follow the yellow marker to the top of the building to engage with Jetpack thugs. Utilize your triangle attack, air takedowns and webs to deal with them. Finishing them off will trigger another event.
  3. After the event, you will be in a mini boss fight. Watch your spider sense for long range attacks and dodge them as they come and use your webs and other gadgets to pile on the pressure when you see gaps in attacks. This fight is not very difficult and you should clear it easily to finish up this mission.

2. Season 3

  1. This mission is only an event and unlocks even more Screwball challenges around the city. Yay.

3. Rio Bravo

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. In this mission, you will need to defend a truck from an onslaught of Hammerhead thugs. The thugs themselves aren’t a problem, but they will try to open the door to the truck and you need to stop them before they succeed. Stay near the trucl and fight the thugs. If any of them should try to open the door, use a Web Bomb, Trip Mine or basic webs to stop them and simultaneously take them down.
  2. After clearing this mission, you will unlock Hammerhead crimes around the city.

4. Together But Alone

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. In this mission, you will have to chase after a convoy similar to the run-of-the-mill stolen car crimes, except the thugs are more proficient at shooting back at you. The first target will be a truck, and the second target will be a car. After you are closing in on the third target, an event will trigger.
  2. After the event, take out 4 more vehicles in the convoy. Stay clear of the red traps they leave in the sky. Taking them out will trigger another event.
  3. Now you will have to destroy the drones that are pursuing the ship chasing the convoy. Get close to them and use your web shooters to dismantle them. 2 or 3 direct hits will do the job.
  4. After taking them out, another batch of drones will appear and you will need to catch up to the chip and mount it in order to deal with the remaining drones. Finishing them off and catching up to the remaining truck will trigger another event and the end of this mission.

5. Humanitarian Aid

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. In this mission, you will have to take out a small group of thugs. If you use your ranged stealth takedown on the huge thug, the fight will be a piece of cake. Finishing them off clears this mission.

6. Trust Issues

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Tail the two thugs through the city until they split up.
  2. When they split up, head to one of the two yellow boxes on the map to climb a wall, while out of sight. On the rooftop, make your way to the Yellow Marker to listen in on the thugs which will trigger a fight.
  3. Take out the thugs in the complex.
  4. After the fight, open the doors to the van on the parking platform C-3 and investigate the contents.
  5. Follow the proximity compass until you reach an event.
  6. Take out the thugs in the alleyway, starting with the Big Thug on the far end of the alleyway. The rest of the fight should prove easy if you do this.
  7. After the event, chase the aircraft through the city to the rooftop of a building indicated with a yellow marker.
  8. On the rooftop, you will have to take out 4 generators to free the aircraft.
  9. Once you complete this, you will need to clear the rooftop of any remaining thugs. This fight is a brutal one. Stay near the corners of the rooftop and use your takedowns on Gatling Gun thugs or Riot shield thugs to make this easier. Successfully clearing the rooftop will result in an event and the end of the mission.

7. Getting Deep

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Make your way through the sewer until you come out to an abandoned subway station.
  2. Take the guys out silently and carefully starting with the snipers.
  3. After clearing the room. Use R3 to follow the yellow power cables and then yank and abandoned train car out of a tunnel which you will then make your way through.
  4. Continue along the tunnel following the yellow cable until you come out to an opening. Take out the 3 thugs silently and then investigate the nearby area.
  5. After investigating everything, the path forward will be open indicated by the yellow marker.
  6. Make your way through the subway being careful to not crawl into any electric machinery and you will see an event.
  7. After the event, you will be in a heavy firefight against many thugs. Pace yourself, prioritize gunners and rocket launcher thugs and use your takedowns on the Brutes and the more troublesome thugs. Hit them hard and fast while keeping an eye on your HP. Taking them all out will end this mission.

8. One Plus One Equals Win

Show/Hide Mission Details
  1. Follow the orders given to you in the base until you trigger an event that puts you into a boss fight.
  2. Be careful of Hammerheads attacks and watch your spider sense. Dodge as he attacks you to weaken his body in order to hold him in place. Repeat this process until you see an event and he equips blue armor.
  3. In the second stage if the fight, you will first have to disarm Hammerhead’s armor by throwing him with the bombs that Sable’s ship drops. Until that happens, play defensively and don’t engage him. When the bombs drop, center the camera with R3 and use L1+R1 to throw the falling bombs at Hammerhead. Once a bomb hits him and his shield is down, you can engage him but be careful; he isn’t incapacitated. Wait for him to attack you and then dodge his attacks and hit him with everything you’ve got to stagger him and hold him in place. Continue this process until he is defeated which will clear this mission and this chapter of the DLC.
