Unique Enemy Sub Quest Guide for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet
Unique Enemy Quests are sub-quests where you must go out and kill a certain Named Monster in the fields or dungeon. These are received from the counter in the Squadron (PvE) and they are cleared immediately once you fulfill the conditions. More are unlocked depending on your story progress. As with the bounty quests, when an NM is nearby, someone in your party will say something about a “Neimudo Monsutaa”. That’s when you know its in the near vicinity.
Since I am playing the Japanese version and the names of the monsters are in Japanese, some of the translated names here may differ from the official English version.
Unlike other sub quests, NM Kill Quests are repeatable which means they may provide opportunities to farm easy Mod Chips or Materials by being setting the game to Easy Mode and completing these quests multiple times.

NM Kill Quest 1: The Elite Automata (精鋭の自動人形)
- Quest giver: Dragon Tsura at front desk (In PvE Squadron Room)
- Recommended Level: 5
- Unlock Conditions: None
Clear Conditions: Kill the NM “Automaton Army Elite” Automata in the Center of the Control Facility in the First Area. Its the big guy standing guard at the heart of the facility. Refer to the map below:

NM Kill Quest 2: Demon of Steel (金属製の悪魔)
- Quest giver: Dragon Tsura at front desk (In PvE Squadron Room)
- Recommended Level: 15
- Unlock Conditions: None
Clear Conditions: Kill the NM “Metal Ahriman(?)” Floating Turret in the Dungeon located in the South-East corner of the First Area. When inside the dungeon, proceed forward until you come to the first fork in the path. Straight will be a Green Door and the rest of the dungeon will continue to the right. The NM target is through the Green Door. Refer to the map below:

NM Kill Quest 3: The Eater of Travelers (旅人喰らい)

Clear Conditions: Kill the NM “Wanderer Eater” Scorpion just south of the Control Facility in the First Area. Refer to the map below:

NM Kill Quest 4: The wasteland’s troublemaker (荒野の暴れ者)

NM Kill Quest 5: Heartless Puppet (心失くした人殻)

NM Kill Quest 6: Underworld Rogue (地下世界の盗賊)

NM Kill Quest 7: With Just One Slash (たった一刺しで)
- Quest giver: Dragon Tsura at front desk (In PvE Squadron Room)

- Unlock Conditions: Unlock the Third Area

NM Kill Quest 8: The One Who Erases All (すべてを抹消するもの)

Clear Conditions: Kill the Turret NM found in the city ruin’s northern B dungeon of the Third Area. Refer to the map below:
In the map above, teleporters with corresponding letters allow players to teleport between them. So A will go to A and B will go to B etc.
To reach the target NM for this Sub Quest, you must go through the teleporters in the following pattern from the entrance of the dungeon: A > C > F > G > H > I > Named Monster Target

NM Kill Quest 9: Cursed Crest (呪われた紋章)

Clear Conditions: Kill the Flying Gemstone NM found in the city ruin’s northern B dungeon of the Third Area. Refer to the map below:
In the map above, teleporters with corresponding letters allow players to teleport between them. So A will go to A and B will go to B etc.
To reach the target NM for this Sub Quest, you must go through the teleporters in the following pattern from the entrance of the dungeon: A > C > F > G > J > K > Named Monster Target
