 Bounty Hunting Sub Quest Guide for Sword Art Online: Fatal Bullet

Bounty Hunting Quests are sub-quests where you have to go find and kill high level players in the world. These quests are received from the counter in the Squadron (PvP) room. When you spot a bounty in the field, someone in your party should say something about a “Shoukin kubi”. That’s how you know you’ve found the targets. Or you you could just kill everybody in sight. Whatever works.

Unless specified otherwise, the Bounties always appear in the same place for each respective area.

Once you clear these quests, you get the rewards instantly and don’t need to report back to the Squadron desk, but more quests may unlock upon previous quest completion so be sure to check frequently.

Bounty Quest 1: Bounty Hunter Introduction (バウンティハンター入門)

  • Quest giver: Megane at front desk (In PvP Squadron Room)
  • Recommended Level: 13
  • Unlock Conditions: None

Clear Conditions: Hunt down the Nebula gang (Lv17 Player x3) just West of the Control Facility (Buildings in middle of map) in the First Area. If you have to look at the Badge of the Control Facility on the map, and continue left in line with it, you will find this bounty. Refer to the white flag on the map below:

  • 3,000 C

  • Outfit Recipe: Battle Jacket M [No Jacket]

Bounty Quest 2: Lone Wolf of The Gun World (銃の世界の一匹狼)

  • Quest giver: Megane at front desk (In PvP Squadron Room)
  • Recommended Level: 15
  • Unlock Conditions: Clear Previous Bounty

Clear Conditions: Hunt down the Sniper Player (Lv22) in the exact same place as the last bounty.

Rewards:

  • 4,500 C
  • Modification Chip x5
  • Material: 良質な金属の欠片 x5

Bounty Quest 3: The One Named After A Storm (嵐を名乗るもの)

  • Quest giver: Megane at front desk (In PvP Squadron Room)
  • Recommended Level: 17
  • Unlock Conditions: Clear Previous Bounty

Clear Conditions: Hunt down the Player called STORM (Lv26) in the exact same place as the last bounty.

Rewards:

  • 6,000 C
  • Modification Chip x5
  • Material: 光子制御装置 x5

Bounty Quest 4: Suppressed Evil (隠蔽される悪意)

  • Quest giver: Megane at front desk (In PvP Squadron Room)
  • Recommended Level: 20
  • Unlock Conditions: Clear Previous Bounty

Clear Conditions: Hunt down the Player called Black Integral (Lv30) in the exact same place as the last bounty.

Rewards:

  • 11,000 C
  • Modification Chip x5
  • Material: 機械部品 x5

Bounty Quest 5: Warrior Confrontation (武人との対峙)

  • Quest giver: Megane at front desk (In PvP Squadron Room)
  • Recommended Level: 21
  • Unlock Conditions: Clear Previous Bounty; Unlock Second Area

Clear Conditions: Hunt Down the player near the Shipwreck in the Second Area. If you see the path-like indentation on the map that starts from the entrance and moves down. It kind of looks like a Sperm on the map wwww. Near the tail of the sperm there is a shipyard. To the north-east of the shipyard is a small base on the map (To the East of the ship that looks like its pointing directly downwards on the map). This area has a lot of containers and barricades. The Bounty is inside this area. He is Lv30 with two Lv26 players with him. Refer to the white flag on the map below:

Bounty Quest 6: Honestly, I didn’t really want to keep playing. (本当は続けるつもりはなかったの)

  • Unlock Conditions: Clear Previous Bounty

Clear Conditions: Hunt down the Player in the exact same place as the last bounty.

Bounty Quest 7: A Whisper to whisk you into the night (夕闇誘うため息)

  • Quest giver: Megane at front desk (In PvP Squadron Room)
  • Recommended Level: 27

Bounty Quest 8: Virtual Nature (バーチャル・ネイチャー)

  • Quest giver: Megane at front desk (In PvP Squadron Room)
  • Recommended Level: 29
  • Unlock Conditions: Clear Previous Bounty

Clear Conditions: Hunt down the Player in exactly the same place as the last bounty.

Rewards:

  • 20,000 C
  • Modification Chip x8

Bounty Quest 9: The Dragon Within a Shooting Star (流星は龍をも墜とす)

  • Quest giver: Megane at front desk (In PvP Squadron Room)
  • Recommended Level: 32
  • Unlock Conditions: Clear Previous Bounty; Unlock the Third Area

Clear Conditions: Hunt down the Player in the Third Area. They are located at the Eastern entrance to the Dome structure on the map. Refer to the white flag on the map below:

Bounty Quest 10: Diamond Blast (金剛発破)

Bounty Quest 15: Line of Fire under the Moonlight (月夜に光る弾道)

Bounty Quest 16: Light & Shadow (光と影)

Bounty Quest 18: Systematic Approach to Escaping from Reality (現実逃避は計画的に)
